SKIN
Removal of moles or skin lesions
Benign skin lesions like moles, cysts, lipomas, or skin tags can be removed for comfort or cosmetic reasons.
These are relatively quick, low-risk procedures performed under local anaesthetic. Recovery is fast, with minimal downtime, so you should be able to go to work the next day and resume exercise shortly afterwards.
There are a variety of ways to remove these lesions, including surgical excision, shaving or curettage, and freezing (cryotherapy). We'll discuss the best technique with you beforehand, as well as giving you advice on scar care, to ensure the best cosmetic outcome.
