Areola reduction
Areola reduction surgery reduces the diameter of your areolae, the darker skin around your nipples.
If you feel your areolae are too large, have stretched, or become irregular, this technique can reduce their size and improve their shape, creating a more pleasing overall breast appearance.
The operation removes a circular outer rim of your areolae, leaving a scar that is well hidden along the new areolar border. It is typically done under local anaesthetic, and you can get back to most normal activities within a few days.
Areola reduction can be done as a standalone procedure or can be combined with other breast surgery, such as breast reduction, breast uplift, or breast augmentation.
